Terms and Conditions

The purchase of Services is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using White Rose Wellbeing’s Services, you are accepting that you agree to White Rose Wellbeing’s current Terms and Conditions.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION

  • All sessions, workshops and retreats must be prepaid at the time of booking.

  • No refunds are permitted once booked. You are welcome to pass on your session, workshop or retreat place to someone else, but you must inform White Rose Wellbeing if doing so.

  • If you miss a booked session, workshop or retreat with less than 1 weeks’ notice, no refund will be given, and your session, retreat space or workshop will not be transferrable.

  • If you need to reschedule a session, you are required to give a minimum of 48hrs notice.

  • If a session, workshop or retreat is cancelled by White Rose Wellbeing you will be offered a full refund or transfer.

  • The rights of cancellation and refund and any limitation expressed in these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

LIABILITY STATEMENT

As a Client of White Rose Wellbeing, you agree that:

  • The Services supplied by White Rose Wellbeing, whether in person or online, do not constitute medical advice and it is your responsibility to determine, through obtaining appropriate medical advice, that you are fit and well and that such Services are suitable for you. It is not the responsibility of White Rose Wellbeing or its collaborators to do so. Before commencing any session, workshop or retreat, you should consult your doctor if participation may exacerbate any existing conditions.

  • Neither White Rose Wellbeing, nor its collaborators are responsible for any injuries or adverse psychological issues suffered by the client caused solely or in part by the client’s failure to follow the instructions or pre-participation guidance of the teacher, practitioner or facilitator.

  • White Rose Wellbeing and its collaborators are not liable for any incorrect information supplied by you to us.

  • Clients must notify a White Rose Wellbeing practitioner, teacher or collaborator of any circumstances affecting their health, which may be exacerbated through the participation in a particular session, workshop or retreat.

Clients must be able to answer “No” to the following questions to participate fully in yoga-based sessions, workshops or retreats.

  • Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only participate in physical activity recommended by a doctor?

  • Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity?

  • In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not doing physical activity?

  • Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness?

  • Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?

  • Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs (for example, water pills) for your blood pressure?

  • Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs for a heart condition?

  • Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?

  • Are you pregnant?

If you can answer “Yes” to any of the above questions you must talk with your doctor by phone or in person BEFORE you book a session, workshop or retreat. Tell your doctor about what practice you intend to do and inform the doctor which questions you answered YES to.

  • White Rose Wellbeing assumes no liability for persons who undertake physical activity. If in doubt after answering these questions, please consult your doctor prior to participation.

  • If during a session, workshop or retreat you feel unwell, you must inform the practitioner, teacher or facilitator immediately.

GENERAL

  • Sessions, workshops and retreats are always subject to availability.

  • White Rose Wellbeing reserves the right to change the session, workshop or retreat schedule, including cancellation of individual sessions, workshops or retreats and change of teacher without notice.

  • White Rose Wellbeing, and its collaborators are not responsible for loss or damage to a client’s personal belongings.

  • White Rose Wellbeing reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English law, and you consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  • By booking a session, workshop or retreat with White Rose Wellbeing you agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, and you agree that you have read, understood and answered the questions honestly.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

The information you supply will only be used for the purpose of contacting you regarding sessions, workshops or retreats held by White Rose Wellbeing and its collaborators.
