Root Cause Healing
I offer a powerful form of mind & body integration, that works at a subconscious level. My sessions offer a safe, confidential space to explore underlying emotional or energetic blocks that may be holding you back in life.
I use an expanded version of a modality called Soul Transformation Therapy which helps identify, release or transform the core issues beneath limiting patterns, beliefs, and imprints - whether conscious or unconscious.
Once an underlying issue is identified, a range of techniques can be used to dissolve or transform the issue, allowing for greater emotional & psychological balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of peace, direction and wellbeing.
Adverse emotions, if left unaddressed, can accumulate and lead to stress, fatigue, disrupted sleep, and eventually ailments, dis-ease or illness. This work aims to resolve those issues at their origin.
Yin & Restorative Yoga
The focus of Yin & Restorative Yoga practices is to induce deep relaxation and healing through supported poses and slow, mindful breathing. They are both gentle practices designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote physical and emotional wellbeing.
Yin yoga uses supported, long, passive holds to work on the deep, dense connective tissues of the body – the fascia, tendons, ligaments and cartilage. Using a combination of props, low stress and long holds allows the connective tissue time to transform at a cellular level.
Yin gives us the opportunity to remould our habitual postural patterning and scar tissue from the inside out, as well as being great for easing every day aches and pains. Yin improves overall mobility, flexibility, and joint movement.
Restorative yoga, like Yin, is about finding stillness and comfort in supported poses, however in Restorative we hold poses for longer, but with zero intensity.
Yin & Restorative are known to aid more restful sleep, reduce anxiety and depression, as well as stimulating the production of serotonin - the ‘feel good’ chemical in the body. When deep relaxation is realised, healing can happen on many levels.
Yin & Restorative yoga are floor-based practices and are suitable for all experience levels.
